At Hamilton Operatic Society we fully understand the amount of work that goes into building and maintaining a wardrobe. In today’s harsh times we see more and more community theatres unable to support their own wardrobe departments. It’s costly in both real dollars and the good will of volunteer helpers. So make life a little easier and come and see how inexpensively you might costume your next show with our help. For the same cost as a handful of costumes made from scratch, you might dress the entire cast through us. It’s much more cost effective than you might think.

Even if you are out of town we make it as easy as possible. If you can come and visit we book a time, we work with you to pull together a collection, you take it on appro, do some fittings, swap and return a few things and in a very short space of time you end up with a full set of costumes ready to go.

If you are at the other end of the country we run a slightly different system. With your sizes and specifications, we pull the collection together and take photos. You make your choices and we send the collection to you, you do the fittings, we swap a few things and once again you are done and dusted in no time.

And don’t forget we have props, set and cloth to hire as well.
