Over the last 100 years, HOS has created one of the largest collections of backdrop and specialty cloths in New Zealand, all of which are available for hire.

Please note all prices are per cloth, per performance and exclude GST and freight.

Most full cloths measure 12m x 7m, however full details are available on request.

Terms & Conditions of Hireage:

Individual cloths are hired on a per performance basis.
Cloth orders must be made three weeks prior to the date required to allow for flame retarding and freight. We may not be able to accommodate orders inside that time frame.
A Bond of $100.00 per cloth is required to be paid on ordering of cloths to confirm your booking.
The Bond will be returned after inspection and satisfaction that damage has not occurred and the cloth is returned folded as per instructions included with the cloth.
If cloth requires re-folding, a fee of $40.00 per cloth will apply. This will be deducted from Bond payment and the remainder refunded.
An invoice will be issued once booking arrangements are complete. All payments must be made using internet banking (details will be on the invoice).
The Bond payment is required before the order is dispatched and will not be refunded until the remainder of the invoice is paid, the cloth returned and checked.
Cloths must be returned within one week of the last performance and freight costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Hamilton Operatic Society reserves the right to seek costs if they are required to pursue unpaid invoices or un-returned cloths
The booking form will require customers to sign in agreement to these terms and conditions.
